Equipment, technique, skiing fun – at our Swiss ski school, you can learn everything you need to know about skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, and freeriding. You can start from the basics or boost your ability as a more advanced skier. We’ll tease out your skills or perfect your skiing technique. And of course, the same also goes for little skiers. Children from the age of three can playfully learn skiing skills from pedagogically trained ski instructors at our Swiss ski school.

Samnaun’s first female ski instructor Carolina Hangl, Super G world champion Martin Hangl, and carving pioneer Andreas Hangl shape the Hangl ski and snowboard school to this day. You can learn the very basics of skiing or improve your skills in private or small group courses here. Are you ready?

We believe our passion for winter sports is the reason for our success. You advance quickly when you’re enthusiastic. That’s why you can decide for yourself whether private lessons or a small group course is right for you or your little ones. Speaking of kids: As an additional service, our Swiss ski school offers its own children’s pick-up service and first-class childcare over lunch. In 1964, the first ski lift was built in Samnaun. Carolina Hangl was the first female ski instructor, taught on the Musella slope, and played an instrumental role in the development of winter tourism in Samnaun. That’s why skiing has always gone hand in hand with the Hangl name – and will continue to do so in future.
Martin Hangl crowned the Hangl ski era with the Super G World Champion title at the Ski World Championships held in Vail in 1989. He also won three World Cup races over the course of his career, which lasted from 1981 to 1991. The siblings complete the success story with multiple awards as Swiss Ski Instructors Champion and even Ski Instructors World Champion. Skiing expertise is in the Hangl family’s DNA. At the heart of an Alpine skiing paradise
Samnaun in Switzerland, ski resorts, and sunshine – what more do you need for a great holiday? Samnaun/Ischgl is one of the best and most famous ski resorts in Europe. The winter is especially long and most importantly: snow is guaranteed. You can enjoy spring skiing on fantastic firn snow until May. It’s an especially good time for ski touring. With our ski school in Samnaun, you can explore the peaks in the Silvretta area or climb up to the Jamtal, Kölner Haus, or Skihaus Alp Trida huts. Speaking of peaks: We also offer summit tours for mountain biking in Switzerland and in neighbouring Ischgl in Austria.
